Cadair Idris

Back in April we went on a trip to Wales to have a crack at Cadair Idris, which is located in the southern area of Snowdonia, we hadn’t really spent much time in this part of the park before, so it was nice to visit somewhere new. I’ll be honest, whilst I was going through these negatives it took me some time to actually remember where these were taken, the trip having completely slipped my mind…

We followed the circular path that leads up Mynydd Moel, followed by the main summit of Penygader, and then finally Craig Cwm Amarch, which acts as the ‘pointy’ backdrop to Llyn Can - the lake at the centre of the walk. This route is quite a steep and immediate incline right out the gate, and certainly gets the blood moving!

We were pretty fortunate with the weather, not too hot, not too cold! I came armed with my trusty MP, and a roll of Kodak Gold.

The pictures I got of Bo on the tops are the highlight of the trip, and I will treasure them forever ♥
