A Frosty Walk
It feels like a long time ago now, but back in February 2025, We went on a little day trip to the Lake District to tick off some more Wainwright’s - Haystacks, Brandreth, Grey Knotts, and Fleetwith Pike.
I was armed with my trusty MP, a roll of Ilford HP5, and my best little girl - Bo for company.
Haystacks just happened to be the right height to be snow free, but have some beautifully frozen Tarns, some of which Bo enjoyed skating around on. When ever she found ice, she would become obsessed with breaking, and chewing it, it was very sweet to watch her play.
The views that day were wonderful, the air was crisp, visibility was excellent, and the sky was filled with interesting cloud patterns, which is always an important aspect when shooting black and white film!
